OPEN THINKING

We don’t really do mission statements or corporate credos;
we just believe in offering honest, open thinking.

Our Approach

We think open is all about being fair and frank at every turn. Guileless. Upfront. Open is allowing and encouraging creative thinking, to produce insightful innovative solutions that drive business. What it isn’t is vague and wishy-washy thinking. We’ve got opinions. And we’re not afraid to air them.

Our History

The news was all a bit up and down in 1994…England didn’t make it to the World Cup, Wet Wet Wet were No.1 for about 8 months with that one about feeling things in their fingers and OJ Simpson certainly blotted his copybook; but at least Opening Doors first set up shop – as a research company.

It’s fair to say that, over the next few years, everything ticked over profitably; with their clients enjoying a professional, proactive service.

One of those clients was a certain Les Wilcock: “I really liked the way they treated me. They were there when I needed them. But they were always on the front foot too – coming up with smart ideas on their own.”

He liked Opening Doors so much, he bought the company.

That was in 2004, and since then, everything’s been on the up.

For example, at one point, you could have fitted the whole team in one room…now, the studio’s moved onto its own floor. The company’s offering has also expanded too, to include marketing strategies and full creative services.

In fact, when so many other companies have been battening down the hatches, Opening Doors have shown substantial year-on-year growth. And many client relationships have blossomed from one-off projects into major long-term pieces of business.
