The Financial Services Skills Council is the independent employer-led sector skills council (SSC) for finance, accountancy and financial services. It acts as a link between industry, government and education. It has to apply to be re-licensed as an SSC – with the relicensing document being a critical part of the process.
Opening Doors was given the job of building a compelling body of evidence that could be presented to support the re-licensing application. So we took a full 360◦ view – with a complete brand audit, 1000 interviews and brand workshops.
We developed a market engagement strategy – with the evidence we based it on being used as a foundation for the relicensing document. Subsequently, this led to a successful re-licence, and the then Chairman of the FSSC, Roy Leighton adding “we viewed the open consultation as a perfect opportunity to get a better understanding of the industry, and are now focused on making real and relevant changes to the way the FSSC works, for the benefit of all.”
