So, the phone call went like this: “We’re Revolution. We made our name in vodka. We’ve teamed up with Bacardi and we want to launch a new chain of Cuban-themed rum bars. Any ideas?”
This was one of those glorious opportunities when we could start with a blank piece of paper. We really got our heads around some high-end brand thinking to uncover a look, a tone of voice, a style all of its own. This led to the funkiest, quirkiest look this side of Havana and a suite of work with enough punch to stand out on the High Street.
Viva la Revolución! Eleven rum bars are already successfully up-and-running. And more openings (plus a few sore heads) are already on the horizon for the coming year. Head of Online Marketing, Andrew Windsor says “Working with Opening Doors made us re-evaluate our brand strategy and on a day-to-day basis they are like an extension of our marketing department.
